Baby Boomers Are Not Slowing Down
As a network marketer and a Baby Boomer, I am fascinated by what other Boomers are doing to keep it fresh, keep it going and keep on moving. We aren’t slowing down, we are just getting perked up for a new age in our lives. I stumbled across a great article at Boomer Cafe which exemplifies what our generation continues to do. http://www.boomercafe.com/2010/07/17/staying-young-while-aging/ As Marcia Barhydt says in her post:
“We are all so full of courage, mettle, spirit. We’ve always had the courage to make huge changes to our work, our play, our parenting, our life-outlook. That courage to adapt is still inside us. I’m not doing a Pollyanna pep talk here — to me, our inner strength, our courage, is a given. I’ve seen it all my life from all of us. And I know we still have something left in the reservoir.”
We certainly do have that “something” left in our reservoir as we begin our journey through an older age. We are starting businesses – whether we are homebound or active. The brave new world allows us to do that. I chose health and travel because I focus on what I know best – my generation, the Boomers. And what I’ve discovered we Boomers are looking for at this point in our lives is remaining healthy, getting around and starting home businesses to carry us through a retirement crash we likely didn’t expect.
We still have it – and we know from years of professional experience how to network, avoid the nutjobs and learn. So if you are considering it – JUMP. I’m thrilled my health products restored my health, which allows me to grow into other areas.
I keep saying it: The STILL Are the Good Old Days

Mary Anne, you are living proof to us “Boomers” that there is a fountain of youth out there and you my friend have found it!
It’s so true “Boomers” need to understand just how valuable they truly are and life now is even better. You are one of the rare gyms that is paving the way for this great generations :>)
