What Others Think of You Is None of Your Business – And Why You Shouldn’t Care Anyway

What Others Think of You Is None of Your Business – And Why You Shouldn’t Care Anyway

Why do some people make it in their online businesses or in reaching their life goals, in general? One reason is they don’t care what others think of them.  Not to say they are hardhearted, disconnnected or lacking in compassion.  Far from it – they care deeply.  Unless you care deeply for others, you will not succeed in this business, because it is the love of other people that will catapult you to the top. But to not care what others think is critical.  If someone is just getting out of the starting gate in online marketing – most likely the people closest to them and even total strangers will demand they get back inside that gate and not dare to try to unlock it.  It’s similar to the diet saboteurs who seem to come out of nowhere with fattening foods and temptations, the moment someone tries to improve...

Time For Massive Action

Time For Massive Action

I had a great vacation with family and friends, wonderful Thanksgiving, a silver wedding anniversary party and lots of rest.  Now is a perfect time for me and you to really give it your all for the month of December. Many marketers or people considering internet marketing assume the Holiday Season is a dud, and this is a major error and will affect your business all through 2010.  Doing all you can in December to reach those already looking for opportunities at a time when earning more money seems even more important because the pressure of buying presents adds so much to Americans already trying to cut back in a bad economy. Many people I talk to are looking for new ways to make money from home and many are ready to start now.  Even those who want to wait until after the New Year will be raring to...

Free Video Web-Based Mail

November 16, 2009
By

This is a cool free tool I discovered – you can send video mails to anyone.  Most such programs give a link for the recipient to click to get to the video, but VuYou.com opens directly in anyone’s regular e-mail box and the video is right there in front of them. httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSgbqO-7cvw This is a great way to keep in touch with prospects, team members and family.  I’m sure you mom would love to see your smiling face instead of just an email.  Then maybe she won’t bug you for not calling enough.  Enjoy.

Motivation, Passion and Taking Anything That Comes

November 9, 2009
By

I dare myself today to even consider feeling sorry for myself for a moment, to lack motivation to pursue my dreams or even to hold a thought for one moment that somethings simply cannot be done.  The legacy of Ben Underwood knocks me face down to the floor if such a moment arises.  I have so much good in my life, so many blessings – how dare I complain if things ever become difficult.  There really is nothing we cannot handle with God’s help. httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUXh-X1iveU Obstacles form in my life to give me the opportunity to overcome them.  My worst enemy will always be myself and any programmed thinking that something I try to do cannot be done.  Personally, professionally, spiritually, there is always a path for those who look to see it.  This video overwhelmed me this morning.  May I never forget.

What’s So Special About GRN Team Synergy?

November 5, 2009
By

Well, the best reason is that Global Resorts Network (GRN) Team Synergy is almost always the top producer of commissions to individuals every month and it creates millionaires.  That alone ought to grab anyone’s attention if they are looking for a top-tiered business opportunity online.  GRN Team Synergy is a group of independent business owners marketing Global Resorts’ memberships (we are NOT travel agents) that stand alone as a product (and did for over 20 years before a business opportunity was attached to it).  No blackout, no restrictions, “hot weeks” in 5 star luxury resorts around the globe for $298 a week (per room or suite, not per individual).  Travel is booming during the recession and every minute $14M is spent on travel, most of it booked online.  Team Synergy is the only team I know of in GRN that gets together for a Summit every three months somewhere...

My “Baby” Turns 21 Next Week

October 23, 2009
By

He’d hate to hear himself referred to as “my baby,” I’m sure.  After all he is 6 feet tall, in college and working full time.  Now I understand why my parents always said I’d remain their “baby” no matter how old I got. He’s my first-born son who should not be on this planet to celebrate next week, and he rolls his eyes every year when I tearfully remember his almost fatal birth and the 16 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  How his dad and I spent our time at the St. Jude Shrine nearby, praying to the saint to pray for his life.  But, with all the top doctors in the hospital room at one time spending hours with us, telling us he probably wouldn’t make it and if he did he would likely be totally mentally and physically disabled – he indeed qualified as one...

Boomers Can Help Themselves Through This Recession

Did you know that Google just posted it’s third-quarter profits for this year and that they are the highest EVER for the company?  Assisting the growth was a 14% increase in Pay Per Click advertising (used by most home business owners when posting ads for the services or business on the Internet.  It shows that business on the Internet is booming, whereas businesses elsewhere are laying off people by the thousands.  We cannot hide our heads in the sand about this and wait for it to “go away,” because it isn’t going to simply disappear overnight and turn into a financial wonderland.  But we aren’t adrift with no where to turn to – Google’s recent success supports the recommendation that starting a home based business online is your best insurance during these tough times. Particularly in the direct selling industry – where the company cuts outs out the middlemen...

Baby Boomers Can Now Get Computer Techie Help from Brady Bunch Mom

According to the New York Times, Florence Henderson, the born-to-be-a-mom star of the Brady Bunch, a 1970′s situation comedy about the combination of two families totalling 6 kids and bringing old fashioned values to a world walking away from them, has started a new company called FloH.  The company is designed to provide a call-in service for older computer users to ask questions about computer glitches, problems and applications without having to call in the grandkids and be subjected to their scorn.  The caller can ask any question and the trainers are purported to be very skilled and patient in dealing with newbie questions and frustrations over crashed systems, frozen screens and guiding the new/older user through the jungle of Facebook, Twitter, Skype and the like. The service costs $25/month or $250 a year, allowing the Boomer a friendly voice on the other side of a phone to ask...
