You might get the VERY WRONG idea from some of my posts, that I’m a pessimist – Chicken Little running around saying “the sky is falling.”

Nothing could be farther from the truth – I’ve been an easygoing optimist since before I was born.  And, I’m not an idiot.

With my experience as a lawyer, a mom, and heck – just a lot of LIFE behind me, I am also a realist.  If some of my blog articles talk about economic crises, especially those that might slam Baby Boomers, it is to get your attention.  That old ’80s and ’90s economy is gone, just when we expected to slow down and reap the benefits of 40 years of work.

My intention is only to say WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE, while there is still time to do something about it.  And there is still time, there is enormous opportunity and hope, and we will lead the way.  But not, if we’ve been lulled into a false sense of security. That old economy is gone, and no one in Washington or on Wall Street is going to bring it back anytime soon.  For many of our generation, that means producing income long after we thought we’d finally be reading all those novels we’ve been planning to get to but were too busy working, raising kids, taking care of homes, and caring for our elderly parents.  And that means Baby Boomers have to create their own economy – now, not later.

The great news is that the opportunities have never been brighter for an aging generation.  The technology WE developed is part of what can turn a potential disaster into a great lifestyle that we can carry with us into our 80′s.  You can be productive, enjoy yourself and earn money til the day you die without the 100 hour weeks some of us used to pull.  Even if (God forbid) you are struck down by some disability – with today’s technology (which will only get better), that won’t matter.  If you’ve still got the brain working – you are gold.

I am also passionate about bringing this to the disabled and homebound of any age.  Having received a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis a couple of years ago, I now look at the world differently and plan ahead “just in case.”  The upside is it really opened my eyes to the plight of many who are too disabled and unable to leave their homes to work a “normal” job.  There is no reason why they cannot be successful too, working online AND offline without ever leaving their homes if that is their situation, PLUS earn the income they need and deserve…. and I would like to help them make that happen.  Couple that with waking ME up to what could happen to me and discovering a “Plan B” that I like so much more than my original “Plan A” – hey,  finding out I have MS has been a gift.

OK then, but still why me? Or from my perspective, I could say, “why you?”

I’ve been around this industry for about 10 years now, have grown with it since before the Internet came of age, and have been a student, online and offline marketer, lived through the hypes, scams and gurus – and I know my way around.  Plus, I enjoy a lifestyle any would envy and I want to share it with you.

GREAT – any moron/liar/scam artist on the Internet can (and sometimes does) tell you that!  What a hoot – who is this gal?  Why believe me?  YOU SHOULDN’T – precisely because of those reasons!  You HAVE to get to know me (or any business partner – because it is a partnership and it IS business) before you jump in and spend those thousands you may already have lost in the past to some disappearing guru?  And by the way, when was the last time your “guru” called you back?

Maybe you feel you know me well enough already from blogs, Facebook, YouTube, forums, social media – whatever.  If so, wonderful.  But still CALL ME.  I cannot help you if I do not know your situation and what you are looking for, and let you get to know me better.  Would you walk up to a phenomenal woman or man and have the first words out of your mouth be “will you marry me?”

The major problem with the “big guys” out there is accessibility.  I dare you to try calling one of them, getting to know them, hanging around with them enough to learn to trust your instincts……………you won’t get anywhere near ‘em.  TRY IT – I DOUBLE DOG DARE YOU.
